What are your hobbies and interests?
At the moment my main hobby is crochet. I picked it up over lockdown and I’m now making my second blanket! I also enjoy reading and going to the gym.

Why did you pick EMS for your 6th form study?
I picked EMS because I wanted to go to a school with people who love maths just as much as I do. The maths enrichment sounded amazing too!

What was the highlight of your time at EMS?
I really enjoyed the EMC presentations and the end of my first term. My group and I had put a lot of work into our project so it was great to finally show everyone else what we’d done.

What has been your biggest surprise about EMS?
I was surprised by how much like a “normal school” it felt. I was expecting it to feel very competitive and although there is a small element of competition, the maths challenge being an example, it was actually a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
