Nick Dean

Nick first worked with EMS when he was an undergraduate at the University of Exeter, supporting our students with their EMC projects. He then went on to join our Teaching Internship to get a taste of what teaching is all about.  Having graduated with a first class MMaths, he decided to become a teacher and we couldn’t be happier that he chose EMS as his first teaching post! His natural affinity with our students and shared love of mathematics make this the perfect fit.

Nick now leads our pastoral and academic tutorial curriculum, ensuring students are well prepared for their next steps and have the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

When not busy preparing lessons, Nick enjoys playing the guitar and mountain biking – fast – downhill!
