Philip Godfrey

Phil joined EMS in September 2025. 

Having served in the Royal Navy as an engineer, Phil embarked on a career with the Police, retiring as an Inspector after nearly 30 years service. During his service, he undertook a variety of roles and continues to support student Detectives as an assessor.

Phil has a keen interest in wellbeing and is currently studying for a Masters degree in Mindful approaches with Bangor University. In his free time, Phil enjoys spending time with his two grandsons, two dogs and generally being out in nature. He is an avid reader and enjoys cooking and, when he has the time, DIY.
