Cathy Durston

Cathy is an experienced senior leader, having worked throughout her career in research-based organisations across the higher education, public and private sectors. She has both science and business qualifications and her expertise includes setting strategy, identifying and growing new revenue streams, managing significant organisational change programmes as well as day-to-day operational delivery and budget management.

Since moving to Devon in 2007 she has worked at the Met Office and at the University of Exeter where she is currently the Director of Faculty Operations.  She has been a governor of an Exeter based secondary school and for 9 years was a Trustee of the local charity, Hospiscare.
