Richard Church

Governor

Since July 2020, Richard has been part of the Senior Leadership Team at Exeter College in his role as Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for Finance, Estates, IT, Funding, MIS and Exams.

Richard is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Ernst & Young, where he spent almost 10 years across offices in the UK, undertaking a variety of roles across Audit, Corporate Finance and Restructuring. Richard has over 15 years of experience in senior finance roles across a variety of sectors, including retail, manufacturing, construction, property and fishing.

A former pupil of Torquay Boys’ Grammar School, Richard has a BA (Hons) degree from Warwick University and returned to the South West 15 years ago, now living to the East of Exeter.
