Andrew Daniel

Mathematics Lead

Andrew studied at a number of universities in the UK and the US, and his PhD involved using fluid dynamics and numerical methods to model plate tectonics in Patagonia.  After a post-doctoral research position in computer coding, Andrew then worked in six schools in the US and abroad, teaching Maths and Further Maths throughout his career.  Andrew’s previous roles have included working as a Head of Department, and a number of senior leadership roles.

When not teaching Maths, Andrew enjoys the great outdoors, climbing mountains and walking on Dartmoor.
