National Cipher Challenge

Posted: 25 February 2015

Congratulations to Mike and Donovan who have placed 13th in the National Cipher Challenge! Organised annually by The University of Southampton School of Mathematics, competitors are tasked with breaking the weekly ciphers published on the competition website.

This year, over 600 schools from across the world battled to correctly decrypt the ciphers, tackling increasingly difficult and more complicated challenges with points being awarded for both speed and accuracy.

Not bad for EMS’s first entry into this competition!
