Okehampton Primary win our first Year 6 poster competition

Posted: 8 July 2016

Huge congratulations to the team from Okehampton Primary who won our inaugural Year 6 Poster Competition. Well done Jude, Alfie and Luke! We had almost 250 entries from schools across Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and Somerset.  The competition was judged by a panel of some of our Year 12 students. They chose the winning poster for several reasons: the general formula, the clever use of birthday squares and also for the incorporation of negatives and decimals.  They also gave extra marks for the students using their own words. It was a real pleasure to review the hard work of so many students from across the South West.  A big thank you to everyone who entered this year.  We’ll definitely be running the competition again next year!
