Our Very First Festival of Culture!
Posted: 28 February 2025Our first ever Festival of Culture, celebrating students’ (and staff’s) cultures and pastimes, took place at Exeter College on Tuesday evening (25th February 2025) and was a tremendous success. There was a lot of excitement and energy as students and visitors alike thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you to all the students who put in so much effort to create their individual stalls and workshops and to the flash mob theatre group for brilliant performances! We hope everyone had the chance to sample the variety of food available from all corners of the world and slightly closer to home with a Devon or Cornish cream tea. It seems Devon took the crown – cream then jam!
We were also thrilled to partner with Exeter College’s Reach Academy for the event. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to collaborate with College students they might not normally engage with – fostering new connections and experiences and we are pleased that the Reach Academy is eager to work with us again on next year’s festival!
