Liam Cantle

Assistant Headteacher

Liam teaches Mathematics and Computer Science, he manages the assessments and reporting at EMS and he loves a good spreadsheet. He also overseas careers, university applications and progression. 

Liam is a Mathematics graduate of Warwick University and completed his PGCE at the University of Exeter. He worked for five years in a state comprehensive before joining Exeter Mathematics School in 2014. Liam has significant experience in delivering A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics; he also has delivered CPD to other professionals, both in the UK, with the Computer Science Hub and Maths Teacher Subject Specialist Training, and in Ghana, where he took part in a volunteering project to support Mathematics teachers.

Liam has previously spent time training Ten Tors teams and has a keen interest in programming and ciphers.
