A huge thank you to Exeter University, Cornwall Campuses for letting us exhibit with them at The Royal Cornwall Show 2015 – it was a busy three days: chatting with visitors, answering questions and serving up (huge amounts of) cake and tea, but the highlight for us has to be when year 12 students Callum, Embla and Will joined us on Saturday afternoon to help coordinate a selection of maths and physics activities.
Will managed the gravity defying fountain chain, whilst Callum programmed the robotic cars and Embla tricked the public into thinking they would win a simple dice rolling game, but non transitive dice meant that this wasn’t the case…most of the time!
It was a great three days and we look forward to next year’s event.
